Castle Creek River House

Aspen, Colorado

Built at the confluence of Castle Creek and the Roaring Fork River, this new home marries reclaimed materials with steel and stone to create a unique and open home with plenty of natural light. Lots of large doors bring the interior and exterior spaces together. Challenges included shallow ground water table, close proximity to our protected rivers, a complex steel superstructure and an electrical wiring system designed to eliminate Electro Magnetic Frequency concerns.
